OHAS 18001 is issued by BSI (British standards Institute) as ‘’occupational health and safety’’ standard.

OHSAS 18001 is different from ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. OHSAS 18001 was realized by national standard organization and certificate bodies. It is not ISO standard.

OHSAS 18001 sees important health of employees and safety job rather than safety of product and services.
